The role of Observational Research Executive is best suited to individuals who ideally have a masters or PhD in a life science related field. It combines the ability to design observational real world studies alongside liaising with translators, fieldwork agencies and our internal team to follow research protocols. This role offers the opportunity to analyse and interpret data as part of generating dashboards, reports, manuscripts, posters and slide presentations. Knowledge of statistical approaches is an advantage.

Day-to-day
- Design observational research studies
- Liaise with global fieldwork agencies and translators
- Understand different therapy areas through background research and literature searches
- Implement the research process demonstrating strong project management skills
- Work collaboratively, supporting a range of projects
- Analyse, interpret, and manipulate global data for different types of content
- Design a range of deliverables including dashboards, reports, manuscripts, posters, and slide presentations
- Visit our onsite gym
- Go for a scenic walk in the countryside surrounding our offices
- Take part in monthly activities put on by our social committee

Adelphi Real World is an expert in the generation of real-world data and evidence. We conduct large multi-country, real-world observational studies and healthcare database analyses as part of Adelphi’s proprietary Disease Specific Programmes™. Our evidence is generated through the study of data captured in a real-world setting in a medical practice environment. We then analyse the data and transform this into evidence, which is used to drive understanding for our clients.
In 2019, we produced approximately 150 publications, including articles in peer reviewed journals and posters and abstracts at major conferences and scientific congresses notably ASCO, EASD, ERS and ATS. Most recent 2019 examples include 13 poster presentations and 1 podium presentation at ISPOR EU Copenhagen in November.
